The Halls of Ivy is an NBC Radio sitcom that ran from 1950-1952,

Was created by Fibber McGee & Molly co-creator/writer Don Quinn. The radio series was adapted into a CBS Television comedy (1954–55) produced by ITC Entertainment and Television Programs of America. British husband-and-wife actors Ronald Colman (1891–1958) and Benita Hume (1906–1967) starred in both versions of the show.WIKIPEDIA

The episode starts off as many do, with Dr. Hall and his wife having a discussion over a leisurely breakfast, and leads into the storyline, which involves the staging of a play written by a professor at the school...
