Announcers Revue 1934

A handful of announcer's from radio's Golden Age appear in this film short from 1934: David Ross, Harry Von Zell, Kenneth Roberts [photo, r] and André Baruch appear and introduce musical personalities and an ensemble that demonstrates how sound effects are created in a radio drama. The dance orchestra featured is led by Enoch Light, who also sings "In The Park in Paree in the Spring" (Ralph Rainger & Leo Robin) from the film "A Bedtime Story." Edith Murray's talents are cultivated in her warbling of "Don't Let Your Love Go Wrong" by J. C Johnson, Nat Schwartz and George Whiting. Accordionist/singer Gypsy Nina sings a heartfelt operetta song.----credit post by 'Ednay Arkspay'.
